SCOTCHEROOS

1 C sugar
1 C light karo syrup
**cook these two ingredients in large saucepan on moderate heat until mixture boils
**remove from heat and stir in 1 cup peanut butter (i use crunchy)
**mix in 6 cups rice krispies
press into buttered pan
melt 6oz (half bag) of chocolate chips and 6oz butterscotch chips in saucepan. spread over rice krispies. chill till firm.
