Melanie’s Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

1 1/2 C Butter
2 1/2 C Sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Soda
2 tsp Vanilla
2 TBSP Frozen Orange Juice concentrate
6 1/2 C flour

Directions

Cream butter & sugar together
Add eggs and mix well
Add soda, salt, vanilla & OJ and mix well
Mix in flour 1 cup at a time (I tend to use a little more than 6 1/2 cups to get the texture right. . . but you can judge that as you go)
Chill dough at least 1 hour
Roll into 1/8-1/4 inch thick sheets, use cookie cutters to cut out shapes and transfer to un-greased cookie sheets
Bake at 350 for 9 minutes
